Allen Soong has over 15 years of experience providing financial restructuring, operational turnaround and strategic advisory services to companies in various stages of transition. He has helped clients in industries ranging from consumer products and restaurants to business services and industrials, leading them through various organizational developments, including working capital improvements, cost reduction, and strategy changes. In addition to serving as an advisor, Allen has held a variety of senior leadership and interim management roles, successfully leading clients through the restructuring process, both out of court and in Chapter 11 proceedings.


Prior to co-founding Paladin, Allen was a Managing Director at Armory Strategic Partners. Before that, he was a Senior Vice President in Deloitte’s Corporate Restructuring Group and Managing Director at CRG Partners. He began his career with McKinsey, a leading management consultancy.


Allen earned his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University. He is a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor and is actively involved in numerous professional organizations including the Turnaround Management Association and American Bankruptcy Institute.
