Kep Sweeney has more than 20 years of experience providing operational consulting and restructuring services to private and public companies. He is skilled at leading clients in various stages of their business lifecycle by implementing operational improvements, including asset optimization, working capital improvements, process improvements; and project execution, helping them solve the complex problems they face.
Throughout his career, Kep has led the restructuring efforts for companies with, in total, more than $5.0 billion in liabilities operating across the country in the restaurant, hotel, hospitals, commercial real estate, biotech, biometric, cosmetic, and gaming industries, among others. He has also developed analytics products for Citi Group and worked at Salomon Brothers in New York City as an equity research analyst.
Kep has an MBA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He's the author of The New Restaurant Entrepreneur: An Inside Look at Restaurant Deal-Making and Other Tales from the Culinary Trenches, published by Dearborn Press. Kep has appeared on CNN, CNBC, and Bloomberg TV.
