Larry Field has over 35 years of experience in advising clients across a variety of industries on freight management, distribution center design, retail transportation, and manufacturing processes. He excels in managing and designing transportation programs for clients' inbound and outbound freight requirements that generate significant freight and distribution cost reductions. Over his career, Larry has also helped numerous companies with the design and implementation of outbound delivery and inbound vendor routing programs that provide checks for compliance, carrier pricing, and operating information. He is also highly skilled at implementing management reporting systems that allow for timely analysis and reporting of costs and status of shipping results.

Larry’s background includes re-engineering of clients’ transportation methods to focus on improving profits and efficiency. Part of this re-engineering is the analysis of the distribution center processes and site selection. Larry develops operational and administrative relationships with major truck, rail, and air carriers, as well as international forwarders, steamship operators, and third-party providers. Larry has been a professor at Northeastern University and Florida International University.
